The Threshing Barn

We are absolutely delighted to have been successful in our application to the Rural Asset Multiplier Pilot Programme. The RAMP Programme is delivered by Northumberland County Council and is part funded by the North East Combined Authority Investment Fund and by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Rural England Prosperity Fund with the North East Combined Authority as the lead authority.

The funds will enable us the transform The Threshing Barn into an accessible creative hub, offering arts and wellbeing activities for our community and visitors to Hadrian's Wall from January 2025. The works include a new roof, foundations, insulation and flooring, windows and doors, a water treatment plant and an accessible toilet.

It's been quite a ride during the first half of 2024 to get to this point so why don't you follow our journey on this blog!

Are you a creative or wellbeing practitioner?

We would like to hear from you about what you can offer in the barn. It could be a workshop, an exhibition, performance or items to sell.

Please get in touch by emailing Amanda on info@greencroftonthewall.com
